Have you been scammed? Have you seen scam?

There are still plenty of inexperienced people who become victims of scams committed over the internet.

Good news is that there are steps you can take to completely avoid situations where you can become a victim of a scam. We have complied good information on our Online Dating Safety page; please do take the time to read it.

If you feel you have been scammed, there are many government agencies that you can contact for advice or report an incident. To find the right agency for the type of scam you have been involved please contact your local police department.

If you believe that you or any American citizen have been scammed and the perpetrator is in another country, contact the State Department's Office of Overseas Citizens Services at 1-888-407-4747 or contact the embassy of that country in Washington, D.C.

If you encounter someone asking for money, spamming or any odd behavior please report them immediately.
